I believe we are all traversing personalized paths through life. Destinations, experiences, triumphs, and challenges along this road forge a narrative that is deeply individualized and impactful. While I like to think that much beauty, joy, and meaning can be derived from our stories there are also moments of uncertainty, hardship, and exploration that I feel we aren’t always meant to weather alone. Therapy can be a space to take a respite from the trail, marvel at how far you’ve come, reflect upon unexpected obstacles, unpack heavy burdens, relish where you are currently planted or wonder about what might be over the next crest on the horizon. However your journey might be uplifted; progressing alongside your singular route would be a heartfelt privilege.

I prioritize coming from a place of warmth, acceptance, collaboration, cultural responsiveness, and genuineness. Creating a space that invites and welcomes your authenticity, identities, and values is of utmost importance to me as a clinician and person. I aim to listen with empathy and humility, trusting the expertise you have of yourself. My therapeutic approach is curious, integrative and flexible, weaving together my background with a variety of modalities (e.g., CBT, Psychodynamic, Relational, ACT, Humanistic, DBT) to what might best fit your personhood, needs or preferences. I seek for our relationship to fashion its own distinctive style via metaphor, intentionality, and humor so that we might connect and grow as a team. Time in different clinical settings (e.g., College Counseling, VA, Hospitals) has fostered a broad range of population and presenting concern interests (e.g., AAPI mental health, chronic illness experience). I have an affinity for Young Adult or Undergraduate/Graduate populations, but am happy to engage with any life stage and join your voyage wherever could be supportive.

Additionally, I am passionate about and earnestly dedicated to serving multiculturally diverse and historically marginalized populations. Whether I could function as a productive pit stop, insight-building guide, provider of trail mix/”food for thought”, encourager as the road gets rocky or sincere ear as you pause to get your bearings, I would be honored to take part in your unique passage. It is my subsequent hope that our time will help your way forward be fortified with more care, understanding, and purpose. Please feel free to be in touch if you are interested in connecting or learning more about how

we might work together.
